Welcome to the

WBMT Symposium on Cell Therapy, Bengaluru 2025!

On behalf of the Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (WBMT) and Ramaiah Medical College, it is our great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all delegates, speakers, and partners to the WBMT Symposium on Cell Therapy. This international scientific convention will be held in the vibrant city of Bengaluru, India, on the 21st and 22nd of November 2025 at the Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.
The WBMT is a global NGO in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO) uniting international societies, registries, and organizations in hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapies. Its mission is to promote excellence in patient care, education, and research, and to foster equitable worldwide access to life-saving treatments.

This symposium is dedicated to exploring the rapidly evolving landscape of cellular therapies. Over two days, we will engage in a comprehensive scientific program covering ground-breaking topics from the global perspective of cellular therapies to the practicalities of establishing a CAR-T program. We will delve into low- cost manufacturing models, including the Indian experience, navigate complex regulatory frameworks, and discuss the latest advances in hematopoietic cell transplantation.

Our sessions will feature leading international experts discussing the role of these novel therapies in treating conditions from B-cell lymphomas and myeloma to sickle cell disease and thalassemia. The program is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among clinicians, scientists, nurses, data managers, and all healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing patient care through cellular therapy.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bengaluru for an enriching and stimulating scientific meeting.

With best regards,
The Organizing Committee
